This book is a counting book using animals you might encounter outside/in the garden with their offspring. There is a song at the end with sheet music so that children can sing-a-long with the book if they desire.

The illustrations are vivid and colorful (oil paint?). They cover the pages from corner to corner.

Teaching: use with younger children to help them learn to count. Use with slightly older children to teach information about animals.
