Speaking of the drawings, the style's quite annoying, since the art appears to be intended to look like Elmo drew all the illustrations (the "about the author" has a shtick that the illustrator "helped Elmo").
In all, I'm glad my oldest outgrew this book and I intend to let my youngest tear it up before he gets old enough for me to start reading it to him. (
