Lost is about a bear that climbed on a truck to take a nap and the truck brought it to the city by accident. A boy found the bear and he told the bear he would help him find his home. They went to many places but non of the places were the bear's home. They decided to go to the library and they saw bear's home on a map. They hurry to go to the bear's house because it was getting late. They finally made it to find the bears home, but now the boy was lost! so the bear told him he would help him find his home. I think this is a good book to real to students because it has like a never ending story where they can continue what is going to happen next. It has a lot of sense of place and is very entertaining. This was such a cute book. Its story takes you on a twist of the many places these two go on. It was not at all what I was expecting. I think this would be a great book to have with students in grades K-3rd. You can take time to go through each page and ask students questions on what they might think happen next in the story. ( )

As always with McPhail, beautiful illustrations. A gentle story about getting lost, helping someone, and finding home. Great for 3-4 year olds. ( )
