Some interesting twists but some are longer than they need to be. ( )

This anthology contains a number of excellent stories from Gregory Maguire's channeling T.H. White through his own style in a pomo meditation to Nancy Springer's touching tale of a minor character acting behind the scenes. If you like King Arthur you're sure to find something that you like. ( )
