Jennet Device and her family is lineage of which.
they are called 'The Witches of Pendle' because they live in Pendle hill.
villager fear and dislike them.
Jennet also hate her poor life and family who think being which is good or pride.
So she witness at which trial. As a result, all her family is executed.
she believe she can spend peacefully from now on...

I was surprised I hear this is true story.
I think the theme is prejudice.
If villager have not it and contact friendly she maybe doesn't mind being a member of which family.
I don't want to have prejudice in my daily life. ( )

this stroy is true story about Wiches in Epore. Jannet liveed with her family. However everyone in the village hate her family because her family were withes. One day, her sisiter want to kill one of the villagers with dog and their family was judged about withes. Unfortunatly, her family was killd.

this story was very sad story for me. I think Jannet was so poor. I couldnt imagine that all of my family was killed. she bacame to live rich place. But she also judged about Withes. I read this, my heart became very pain. This book is good to read English but it's too sad story. I hope she have a good life it heaven. ( )
