Still mourning her mother's death, Kimberly Richards is incensed by the determination of her father, the Earl of Amburough, to marry her off as quickly as possible--just to please the jealous lover he plans to wed. And since Kimberly harbors a deep-seated dislike of gold-diggers and the whole distasteful state of affairs, the feisty young heiress already despises the worthy suitor she encounters at Sherring Cross Estate: Lachlan MacGregor, the dashing, newly impoverished Laird of Clan MacGregor. This is actually the second time I've read this. I read all of Lindsey's books a few years ago, but for some reason, I couldn't remember reading the first Sherring Cross book. Of course, once I started it, I remembered it. I read it anyway. Of course, once I read the first one, I had to finish the series, even though I *do* remember the other two books.
I love a book with a lot of humor and this book is full of it. ( )
