This book is about Harry Houdini and all about his life and how he was an escape artist. This could be used in the classroom to teach about biographies and could also be used to teach how to search for information in a text. I would recommend using this book with older grades since it is a chapter book. ( )

Who Was Harry Houdini allows for students to see a different side of the famous magician. This book is filled with many different informative aspects of his life presented in a kid friendly style. The students can use this book to conduct a history lesson or to critique the book versus history. ( )
