Another good earth day read. The story of Slobosaurus and how the other dinasaurs counter his wasteful ways. Lots of re-cycling ideas and things for kids to think about as they use energy and other everyday things around the house. ( )

This is an informational text that talks about saving the environment through 3Rs: reuse, reduce and recycle. Brown utilizes an antagonist to show non-examples on how saving the environment would look like while using the rest of the character to show examples of things one could do to save the environment. This is a good tool to teach the importance of examples and non-examples in informational text. ( )
