Not really for me.

Usagi Yojimbo: Yokai - Stan Sakai
The story was cute, and so was the art. It was cute, and lush and I loved it.

Unfortunately, I didn't connect to the characters at all: I didn't care for them, so I didn't care what happened to them.

I feel like maybe reading this as a stand-alone might have been the problem, although the author claims that he wrote it to be a stand-alone.

Graphic Novel Humble Bundle read in 2016 ( )

Interesting read, great watercolors and ink work but gotta admit I don't think worthy of the $15 price tag. The story line is 56 pages long and all in color but that would be the equivalent of a pair of monthly comic books by Mr. Sakai. Surely a storyline more significant to the Usagi storyline would have been a better choice than this oneshot.

Still adding it to my wishlist. This copy that I read was a library copy. ( )
