A retake of "The Night Before Christmas", but Thanksgiving.

In this book a family shares their family traditions by telling what happened at thanksgiving one year - the cousins came and played, the grandparents helped cook, dad almost dropped the turkey but it was saved, and uncle norm showed up ready to party.

This story is just like "The Night Before Christmas," but for Thanksgiving. I really enjoyed it. I would tell kids both stories and have them come up with a shorter version for another holiday. I would also have the kids sing along while learning all of the words to the story. ( )
