L Change the World ist eine merkwürdige Verfilmung einer Begebenheit, die in dem Original-Anime nicht vorkam. Es spielt zu der Zeit, wo L noch lebt, allerdings bereits sein Ableben geplant hat.
Er muss die Welt retten und begegnet dabei einem kleinen Mädchen, das ziemlich klug ist. Ihr Vater stirbt, als er die Welt vor einem fiesen Virus beschützt. Das Mädchen ist der Schlüssel zur Rettung der Welt und L, der mit Kindern ja eher so semi kann, muss es aus ihr heraus kriegen.
Ziemlich eklig teilweise, denn die Pest ist eine Art Beulenpest und manchmal nicht ganz nachzuvollziehen hat der Film kaum Tiefe und es geht einfach um die Story und die Charaktere (wie Watari) aus Death Note. ( )
