All good things around us : a cookbook and guide to… by Pamela Michael
Pretty coffee table book with some interesting info and entertaining recipies in it. This is a random collection of English herbs, many of which are American too. Nice full page paintings illustrate the text, which relies heavily on old english folk works. The historical references to the herb's uses, and the nice paintings are combined with a wonderful set of recipies for each herb. Some herbs are merely culinary, some medicinal. all in all a nice book to have around.
A wonderful reference book crammed to the edges with full color illustrations and useful information. Not an inch of wasted space.
