Cannot "examine and separate out names" on some author pages

The Sam and Beryl Epstein author page says it is composed of 17 names. Yet when I try to "examine and separate out" the names, I get this: https://www.librarything.com/author/epsteinsamandberyl/names
The same is true on this page: https://www.librarything.com/author/mooregeraldbeierulli
This is not the case for all author pages composed of more than one author. Don't know if this is relevant, but one thing these two have in common is that they both show "0 members".

I looked at the second one, and I do not believe this is a bug, because, as you say, these are two authors. They should, and do, have different author pages:
https://www.librarything.com/author/mooregerald-2
https://www.librarything.com/author/beierulli
There shouldn't be an author page for both of them. So the question is how to get rid of those bogus pages.
Or am I missing something?
(I did clean up a little bit of mis-attribution on this page: https://www.librarything.com/work/190570, which had the second author twice.)

Fixed.

>2 waltzmn: It's not quite that simple. If you look at https://www.librarything.com/work/190570/editions, while the Work is credited properly, books are still credited to the mixed author, and that creates links to this author page.

No, it is a bug. Author pages for multiple authors are common and accepted. The problem here is that the combined pages could not be accessed, so that improperly combined pages could not be separated out.

My understanding was that the problem was that the page was blank; it is not blank now. If there is another issue, please open another bug report.

I'll accept that I did not understand the issue. I didn't know you could have an author page for multiple authors. It does seem strange that, in the second case, the two authors could have both a joint page and individual pages. But that's, at minimum, a different question.

>8 waltzmn: In LT anything a user puts in the author field of a book becomes an author page. As we cannot change users' books, we end up with things like that. Even if the book gets combined somewhere, if you come from that user's catalog and click in their author page, you will land on a page like that. They can be annoying but they exist and we just do the best we can with them. But when they exist, they are just regular author pages that can have CK and anything else. :)
There were times when LT did not have Other authors. And then some sources still just dump everything into an author field.

That I can understand. :-) Thank you for the explanation.
