Corrado Augias

I honestly feel like this would have been a full 5 stars. I really did enjoy reading this, and August’s does tell some stories in a new light. On the whole, however, I didn’t feel like he really focused on telling a lot of Rome’s fascinating history in a way that was new or riveting; for me, a lot of it just felt like rehashed information. Again, I did enjoy reading it, especially since August does have a great storytelling knack.

Mattoncino eccessivamente noioso per come gli aneddoti sono raccontati e per come si susseguono. Questo comporta che il chiedersi se siano o meno interessanti passa in secondo piano.

Augias mi sembra lento e noioso, il libro non ha mordente e non sembra accendere nessuna curiosita' di andare a ritrovare i luoghi descritti. Peccato perche' diverse storie sarebbero state abbastanza interessanti.
