I really do think this is a nice decorating resource, even though the book is now outdated. I gave it four stars because I didn't find quite as many things to try as I thought I would. I guess if I was not "beginner" level, it would be a different story.
Decorating Sewlutions-Learn to Sew As You Decorate Your Home is a wonderful sewing guide that is full of clear, easy to understand directions and lots of full color photos and illustrations. Donna Babylon's book is a must as a reference guide in my home library as well as an excellent source of tips and ideas for home decorating. From buying the correct fabric for your project, to learning to thread a bobbin this book scores A++++++
