A book for older primary, maybe 2nd-3rd grade. A sweet story about a loving mother-daughter relationship. The daughter tells the reader about everyday things that her mother loves that are special to her, like her mother's cup. Mom and child get to spend the day with just them while the rest of the family sleeps. Great book for the classroom, great for mom-daughter relationships, or when students have a new baby in the family and need a bit of reassurance that mom still loves them.

A young girl finds a neighbor who can and will let her realize the possibilities her hair offers, not just resigning herself to bad hair for which she has been ridiculed.

What a lovely and useful book! Text heavy, but the images are wonderful, and the hair care section in the back seems well done.
