The Three Billy Goats Gruff by Stephen Carpenter

This is another one of my favorite picture books! My mom use to tell me all about the three Billy goats. I have read this to my two daughters, and they absolutely love it! This book is so cute and funny. LOVE LOVE it
The book tells that three goats try to get over the bridge to go eat on the hillside to get fat, and the biggest goat butted the troll who hides under the bridge and will not let them pass. I would use this book in my teaching, because the illustrations in this book are really good, and the story is really interesting for 1st readers to read.
