- Working full-time as a writer and translator since 2013, Chirag Thakkar ‘Jay’ has translated more than 100 books so far. This list includes best seller authors like Ashwin Sanghi, Amish Tripathi, APJ Abdul Kalam, Robert T Kiyosaki, Bob Dylan and many more. He has been honoured with ‘GLF Award’ for The Best English To Gujarati Translation for 2017 and ‘Shantsheela Gajjar Smarak Paritoshik’ by Gujarati Sahitya Academy (UK) for the Best Story Writer of 2013. Late Honourable President APJ Abdul Kalam and the Chief Minister of Gujarat Vijay Rupani have honoured him for his works of translation.
He has recently joined Gujarati film industry as a script writer and he is also intimately involved with ‘Matrubhasha Abhiyan’ for service of Gujarati language. He has pursued his Masters in English literature from Ahmedabad and Mass Communication Degree from London, UK.
