From the Lewis Carroll Society of North America:

"The LCSNA is saddened to learn of the death of Nina Demurova. Thanks to Victor Fet for writing this kind remembrance: On July 11, Nina Mikhailovna Demurova (1930-2021) died in Moscow, the foremost Russian Carrollian researcher and translator. She authored a classical translation of both Alice books in 1967. Over the decades, Demurova was the most influential figure in the Russian Carrollian world, and touched many lives. Her Alices were reprinted over 200 times. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered."
