Middle was super slow and it took halfway through the book for the H and h to get together otherwise would have been 5*.

Beautiful
This was such a great emotional second chance romance. Gage and Lauren were high school sweethearts but it ends badly with Lauren walking away. Gage hates her and years later he is back a different man with a chip on his shoulder. Can they move past their history and hate for each other? Or will they be doomed to hate each other forever? I loved this story there are so many twists and turn and angst you can’t put it down.

I absolutely loved this. I loved Kyle and Chloe’s banter, Chloe’s hatred for him, and the push and pull of attraction. They have a past where in high school Kyle messed up and made Chloe’s life miserable. She has resented him every since. She comes from the trailer park, he is the mayor’s son. Opposites attract. There is quite a lot that happens a lot of drama and a very unexpected twist, that leads to a tragic event. My emotions were all over the place and that’s due to the Author’s amazing way to tell a story.… (more)
