An examination of the Argentine economic crisis following the March 1976 coup d'etat. Aldo Ferrer is President of the Banco de la Pronvincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina and he is a member of the Radical Party and has occupied important posts with various governments, including Minister of the Economy from 1970-71. Ferrer also addresses himself to the question of a permanent return to democratic institutions, without which a solution to the present crisis seems unlikely.
