Ted Flanagan

A great combo of political drama and chrome novel from a completely fresh view of an ambulance medic. Definitely a different spin that the usual books in this genre. However, I would have liked more character development and more emotional investment in their personal life.

This was not an easy to like or easy to read book. There was so much evil and corruption in this story.

Received as an Early Reviewer. This one started slowly for me, but the more I read the more drawn into the story I got. The involvement of so many characters and the in-depth storyline and character development draws you into the story.

Received as part of the Early Reviewer program. This book has been on my bookshelf for awhile now and I finally got around to reading it, and I am glad I did. It's a gritty dark thriller set in Worcester Mass. The main character, Thomas Archer is a paramedic who has to deal with both political powers and a crazed man who thinks Archer killed his wife. I got a Dennis Lehane vibe from this author's writing. Highly recommend the book.
