Clayton Geoffreys

I thought this book was awesome, but I obviously have some bias. I grew up watching him play as a Philadelphia 76ers fan. Even so, I think this book would be great for anyone who enjoys basketball. One thing I liked about this biography is the fact that it started from Iverson's childhood. A lot of documentary's have been made on Iverson, but most of them take place from high school onward. It was interesting to read about his upbringing. Another thing I liked about the story is how inspiring it is. It really details all of the adversity Iverson overcame. Some of his accomplishments are truly incredible considering his circumstances. With that in mind, this story was written to teach kids about perseverance and achieving goals.… (more)
