I had mixed feelings about this book. I liked this book because of the type of writing style in which the author wrote the book. The book was simple and had easy rhyming words for beginning readers, But something I didn't like would be that the book tended to repeat itself for example on the one page the children said you have to wear green on this day and then maybe 2 pages later it said the same thing. I also liked the illustrations because they enhanced the story and were very detailed but sometimes I was confused with the pictures because they didn't correlate with the text on the pages. The main idea of this book would be to teach children about St. Patricks day and to discuss all the different activities that take place during the holiday St. Patricks Day.… (more)
