F. J. Gould (1) (1855–1938)

Many of the vivid biographical accounts we have today of various Greek and Roman elite in history come from Plutarch. He worked to compile as much information from the library of Alexandria as possible to reconstruct the lives of these famous men and women. "The Children's Plutarch: Tales of the Romans" brings his accounts down to an approach children's level and paints a vivid picture of the history of Rome.
