An intense thriller you’ll want to read in one sitting. Bridget may only be 16 but she’s smart and willing to put herself on the line.
This book was gripping and captivating. Touches of humor and sentimental tears at the end, I love it all the way through.

Nice Backtrack to where it all began
I love her writing style. While the spaces between the paragraphs breaks my eyes from the story, the section gaps makes the story feel as if the paragraphs aren't connected.
It is wonderful to go back to the beginning as an intro to Bridgette and Valerie giving us a chance to fall in love all over again.

Hawke's Phantom Touch is a thoroughly engaging red. Bridget, a young girl who can see ghosts, is perfectly charming. Her friend, Emily, is at times, irritating, but overall she is loyal.
When Bridget is faced with a spirit that frightens her, the stakes get higher. No longer can she hope to be normal, and perhaps, risk her own life.
This book was a great YA read. I look forward to reading more of Hawke's work.

Book #2 of the Phantom series. Paranormal YA.
After a near death experience, Bridget can see and talk with ghosts. When two high school students go missing, Bridget sends out a call to all ghosts around the area, asking to pass the word and get back to her if the students are found. She hears from the ghosts after midnight and finds a friend to drive to the State Park remote area to try to search. But there is no cell service so Bridget is mostly on her own searching, trusting the spirits to lead her in the right direction.
Gripping and healing as Bridget helps people over and over again. A few tears of hope and closure for one and the expectation that Bridget will continue seeing ghosts and solving problems.… (more)
