I liked the examples and his presentation, though I wouldn't recommend it as the _only_ book to read for learning beginning python.

I found it useful, but not great. I found several useful nuggets of information. Overall, it just didn't match my learning style.

Excellent book that teaches almost everything there is to get one started in the wonderful world of Python, mostly in a humorous way and sometimes in a serious way. Magnus has to be one of the best computer book writers there is, and an amazing & friendly teacher.

A great introduction to the language. Through yet concise, covered a lot of material, and generally provided a great introduction to the language (if not a simple reference manual)
