The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time, manga adaptation by Akira Himekawa is a faithful retelling of Link’s adventure through hyrule. Since this book is a adaptation of a well known video game series (and will be considered retro by the time I teach) I can see this game enticing gamer students to read and displaying a side of reading that isn’t seen as boring to students.

This was a such disappointment. I didn't expect it to be the same as the video game but this story felt very disjointed.

You have to have played to videogame to get a better understanding of this story. And I think it should be the other way around. New readers should be able to enjoy the story without knowing the video game story.

Especially because Link doesn't talk in the video game. If a new reader read this first and then played the game you would be utterly confused.

And the weird thirsty comments by almost all the women in the story didn't help.

I do like the art somewhat. So jeej?

Friggin' adorbs.

Not like the game at all (Link talks, the cheeky monkey) but soooo cute!
