Nice teaser to a new series. I liked it. Not too steamy, and it was left open-ended, but I enjoyed it.

This was so sweet! Aidan is in the closet and afraid to be himself. Robert is instantly attracted but doesn’t want to be with a closeted man. As they spend time together, the both find exactly what they are looking for. I loved following the journey of these guys getting to know each other and getting in touch with themselves. It was such a sweet story with so much love. Aidan’s sister and her husband, Roberts nephew, were great characters. Really, really liked this.

This sweet age gap romance had just the right amount of angst to tug the heartstrings without overwhelming the the feel good vibes of the story.
The age gap verges on May to December (my feeling on this is 25 to 30 years, YMMV) at 22 years but there is more than just the age gap to concern these guys. Social standing, money, homelessness, and the ghost (not literally) of a dead lover all stand in the way of their HEA.
This is the first book I've read by this author but I'll definitely read more.… (more)
