Ever since his writings and the facts of his situation became widely known in the late 'fifties Watchman Nee has been for many in the West a symbol of Christian faithfulness under totalitarian pressure. I didn't really like this biography on Watchman Nee. He lives an extraordinary life but I was expecting something different. The book was an easy read but rather boring at times. It was one of those books that I had to fight to finish b/c I wanted to move on after 50 pages.
