Ryker is chosen by the new expansion team in San Francisco. He had been hoping to get to the West Coast since his daughter lives there with her mother. When he gets there, he learns the mother is being promoted to Dallas. His daughter chooses to live with him. He meets his new neighbor, Avery, as he is moving next door to her. They hit it off immediately. His daughter, Ellie, also likes Avery. What happens in their future?

I enjoyed this story. There is no angst. It is apparent from the start they see no one but each other. Ellie is a good kid who is no problem at all. She and Avery come up with a workable plan when Ryker has to go on the road. It is a sweet simple love story with some loving going on.… (more)

This was such a cute and fun read that I thoroughly enjoyed. We start with Justin who is this famous baseball player who is a huge player. He thinks he has his life planned out and never wants to settle down in a serious relationship any time soon, then life throws him what he thinks is his biggest curve ball. He is in way over his head but thanks to some amazing friends and his best friend’s little sister, Riley, they help him so much. Riley is a sweetheart that looks at most things in life with the glass half full kind of attitude, she offers her help to Justin and you know immediately these two have instant chemistry even if they refuse to acknowledge it. The tension between them continues to build and as the reader you can almost feel it, but they try so hard not to react on it, until they reach their limits and it consumes them. Although, they are attracted to each other and spend steamy time together can things truly work out between them? Will the media have a field day with the drama they create? Or will this all come between friends and family? I loved this story, all the characters, the family dynamics, and all those that helped a friend that was in need.… (more)

Lucas is a highly paid professional baseball player but is also known to be a player when it comes to the ladies. Carmen is the team’s PR lady, and she is always having to cleanup Lucas’ messes, she sees him as a pain in her rear and wants nothing to do with him except for him to take his life seriously. These two don’t always see eye to eye Lucas is having fun and Carmen wants him to get his act together, but a scare seems to straighten him out and then is out to prove himself to Carmen. Their chemistry and attraction become hard to fight but can they make things work or are they too different? And if they did act on these feelings, could it be more or just a fling? I loved Lucas he was such a good guy when we get to see the heart of him, and Carmen’s take no prisoner attitude was fun to read.… (more)
