A Hebrew prince and his family are imprisoned/enslaved by the Romans.

1.5/4 (Meh).

The spectacle/action portions aren't good at storytelling. The dramatic portions are almost as tedious as the religious portions. The religious portions, aside from being insufferably preachy, display a shocking misunderstanding of Christianity.

A married bullfighter is seduced.

It's weird how little action there is for a movie about a bullfighter. And they do almost everything they can to make the protagonist unlikable.
