Please join the Women's Foundation of Greater St. Louis's for their 2014 Making A Difference event: Stronger Women for a Better World.
Liz Murray, the daughter of cocaine-addicted parents, overcame daunting odds, going from living on the streets of New York City to receiving a full scholarship to Harvard University and writing a New York Times bestselling memoir, Breaking Night: A Memoir of Forgiveness, Survival, and My Journey from Homeless to Harvard. Her story was made into a 2003 Lifetime Television movie: From Homeless to Harvard. Murray will share her uplifting story and challenge the audience to recognize the opportunity everyone has to affect others and the community in a positive, lasting manner.
Please RSVP by September 2 at www.wfstl.org or 314-780-3956.
