This would be good for primary students. It covered in a basic manner the traditions and origin of Hanukkah, but I don't think it was as thorough or well put-together as I'd want for my class.

This book could be read aloud to primary aged students.
This book explains the holiday, Hanukkah, and its traditions and origin. It first explains the story of Hanukkah from the Bible and why it lasts for eight days. Then it explains the different foods that are eaten during Hanukkah, while also showing the different games and traditions that families can partake in during this time.
I would choose to use this in my classroom if I explaining to my students the different holidays and religions. This is a great book that simply explains what Hanukkah is and why it is celebrated.… (more)
