Depending on your tastes, you will find this graphic novel series as either very depraved and perverted or twisted but maturely funny.

Overall, the story is funny but in a 'WTF' kind of way, as our main protagonist is the typical shy and geeky high school student who goes head over heels for the new girl transfer student. Once she becomes aware of his passive aggressive attention, she isn't hesitant to put him through the limit in demented situations that plays with his hopes that something might actually come out of this 'relationship'. One example of this is the fact that each chapter is actually listed as "collar". As in the (figurative) collar he wears for her. ^_^;;

The art isn't in the level of what I would consider great, but it does have a certain style. A style that or readers should be aware that involves mature situations and semi partial nudity. Basically, fan service up the wazoo.… (more)

Where it felt uniquely twisted (and fresh) in the first volume, becomes just old and plain weird by the end of the second. Far from feeling any sense of tension for the most part between Kurumi and Hideo, instead one just feel pity for Hideo for the crazy hell that Kurumi puts him through, just because she can. Although there are still alot of funny moments in this volume, most of them involve Kyouko & co. acting in their usual manner. Unfortunately, this does not lead to much repeat reading. Much to my regret, as I had just bought volume 4 of the series. I can only hope things pick up in the next volume.… (more)
