This book is about how unique and amazing every individual is. It helps children love themselves and value their own little differences.

This book was interesting to read. I learned a lot about the other animals that live in the deep sea of the ocean. I love how the Blobfish was on every page of the book trying his best to make the book about him. When he finally had a page in the book, he was known as the ugliest animal. I felt for the poor Blobfish. Poor thing was waiting the whole time for his name and he got disappointed. He was crying in the book and the rest of the sea animals made him feel better by writing the last page of the book that encouraged him. This book is perfect to teach kids about underwater sea animals and they will not get bored because of the unique Blobfish in the story.… (more)

This story was so funny and relatable. Two polar bears that are complete opposites from each other get stuck alone together. Karl thinks Hazel is too quiet and Hazel thinks Karl is too loud. Throughout their adventure, they ignore each other until they both spot some birds that fascinated them. I think that is when they found their common ground and started to get along. This can teach anyone that opposites attract when they finally give each other a chance. The author notes encourage the readers to try and save the North Pole's ice from melting. I think that this book is a great introduction to teach young students how they can save the polar bears' and other animals' habitat.… (more)
