Her mother also was full of wisdom and was an incredible and fascinating person. Overall I enjoyed reading her book a lot.

DTipken | 4 other reviews | Oct 30, 2011 | I have always had a crush on Marie, dating from the original show. I agree the book just hopscotched around from here to there, one story followed by some unconnected item. I was hoping for more from the break up of her marriages, but got little. An entertaining read if nothing else, but more of a self promotional to keep her name out there, and add to her considerable resume.

She went from one story to another-present to past, past to future; making it difficult to figure out what or whom she was talking about. She did not delve into many of the things that might prove to be more interesting in her life.

The story is told with humor and honesty. A great read for those who know someone who is suffering from this debilitating disease.
