What a beautiful story that comes full circle. I loved the characters and watching them go through their struggles. It always amazes me how resilient the human body is. Especially the heart.
I really appreciate the care that the author took to make certain things authentic. Language is a passion of mine so that was also a bonus.

Another slow moving angsty romance. I loved all the emotions of this story. I was frustrated by the things that kept them apart. So, this book was love hate at times.

I enjoyed this read it had a hot alpha hero and a sweet heroine but there was more to the characters than that. Tahoe (Tyler Holiday) is a seal sent to a small town to start a small base camp is at first a brute he has a goal and he sets out to achieve it no matter the circumstances but when he meets and gets to know Caroline May everything changes. Caroline is a sweet southern girl but under that sweetness lies a determination like no other. She helps her mom at the diner and she also is part owner of her dads airstrip, On top of that she is a pilot. She teaches Tahoe how to be more polite and patient and he teaches her how to let go sometimes. They clash and shouldn’t workout but in the end it makes them perfect together.… (more)
