Tamas Dobozy reads from Siege 13, winner of the Rogers Writers Trust Award for Fiction and a finalist for the 2012 Governor General's Literary Awards; Candace Savage reads from A Geography of Blood, winner of the Hilary Weston Prize for Non-Fiction; and Tim Bowling reads from The Tinsmith, shortlisted for the Rogers Writers Trust Award for Fiction. Tamas Dobozy's Siege 13 is a collection of thirteen linked stories surrounding the siege of Budapest, recounting one of the fiercest and longest battles of the Second World War. Candace Savage embarks on a profound and dramatic journey through the eloquent landscape of southwestern Saskatchewan in A Geography of Blood. Tim Bowlings recent novel, The Tinsmith, ranges from the battlefields of the American Civil War to the salmon canneries on Canadas West Coast in the late 1800s.
