Colton has lost his memories including the ones of his high school sweetheart Penny. She left for New York 5 years earlier to study and they intended to have a long distance relationship until they could be together again, only things went wrong and thanks to interference from some who didn't want them together they broke up.
The second chance romance and the misunderstandings I like but it's the on/off I found too much.
A bit of on/off was okay as he feels drawn to her but doesn't remember her specifically or their past history. But he blows hot and cold too much. Also he is a no messing with me strong type and his non-girlfriend, Ruby Sue, makes an appearance and seems to run rings around him.
