Private Myths: Dreams and Dreaming by Anthony Stevens
One of the very few books about dreams and dreaming to ground the phenomenon in actual science. Can't recommend it enough.
Gets a bit too curmudgeonly at the end, and a bit too invested in representations labeled as masculine and feminine (admittedly no surprise for a committed Jungian)—but solid nonetheless.

Something of a struggle to get through. It was difficult to avoid the impression at times that a lot of what Jung was saying was pure verbiage without any meaning one could test against reality.
