Jesus the Christ by James E. Talmage
Great book on life of Christ from LDS viewpoint.
Good basics of LDS Gospel. Language is a little cumbersome though.
This book really builds up when the topic is Jesus Christ, back from his pre-mortal life all the way up to his Second coming. If you want to know more about your savior Jesus Christ, this book is for you.
Old fashioned but it gave me some alternate sources if I ever have the time or the talent.
