If someone asks you for your true thoughts, then you can say it in private. One to one. Do not offer your thoughts verbally or in writing unless asked to do so in a conversation or a discussion forum. Or in a meeting.

Because people are miserable and they want others to be miserable so they complain, gossip, blame, and are negative.
