Elements of General History by Alexander Fraser Tytler

Published several times in the early 1800s, this is an attempt at a world history and carries events down to 1823. There is also a timeline of history in the appendix. Great for a reminder as to what the state of the world was at that time. The 1847 edition includes questions for students.
