Good photo journal.
Fascinating pictures, some lovely, some absolutely horrid. Vaccaro took pictures of all things that happened. There are pictures of everyday life, while the allied armies entered Germany. There are pictures of war crimes. There are pictures of the first fashion shows, and pictures of droves of children listening to an army band. This volume gives the period of occupation a face (or faces).
