I really loved this book, it is a short read but gave so much information. I have read on meditation techniques in the past, but this gave different ways to utilize what is right for you. That was the big thing, what is right for some other people may not be right for you. Yet in that same light, what works for you most of the time may not work as good for a different type of life stress.

A short but helpful guide to meditation. Vincent Vinturi gives you techniques to guide your meditation and ways to improve them. I think it is a great book especially for beginners, like myself, to not feel intimated by thinking you are not meditating the right way.
Having read this book, I have realized that I have been doing some of what Mr. Vinturi suggests but didn't know it was a form of meditation. Now I can use his suggestions and improve my meditation.

While I've never really sat down and decided to meditate, I do many of these techniques daily. I know a few of the techniques do work to at least calm me down out of all the crazy, I call life.
There some things that seem pretty common knowledge, but the author, lets you know, these are ones he finds most effective. Some he has tweaked a bit, but tells you to tweak it yourself to make it work for you. A few seem absolutely crazy, but those are probably the ones I need, lol.
This book seemed to be set up nicely, but a couple techniques I would have liked a bit more explanation. All in all, I felt calmer after just reading it, and plan on focusing on a few of the examples to make them work more efficiently for me. I also plan on trying a few new ones out.… (more)

this book is a great book. i could not put it down. it was a very enjoyable quick read.
this book is to everyone who wants to snag a pretty lady. I mean it! this actually has some really good advice. i was thinking i was going to read this book and wanting to yell, but honestly, when i read it i am now looking around when i go places and saying to myself, hmm why didn't that guy just come up to me because i had all the signs!
so, if you are a lonely guy trying to find Mrs.right or Mrs. right now lol read this book. this will not disappoint you in the slightest.… (more)
