Stephanie Frost and her three-year-son Andrew are stuck in their burning apartment, but a fireman rescues them. Though she’s more concerned for her son than anything, she’s shock to see Matt, her ex-boyfriend and now rescuer, again.
Matt Porter hasn’t seen Stephanie in eight years. After she broke up with him, he became a homeless alcoholic and hit rock bottom, but finally dragged himself back to his feet. Now he’s sober and works as a fireman. He loves his job, but his rocky relationship with Stephanie puts everything he’s worked so hard for in jeopardy.
I liked Matt for the most part. He’s protective, considerate, and completely adores Stephanie and her son.
I couldn’t connect with Stephanie, and I definitely didn’t like her family. Years earlier, her brother Lance robbed a store, shot a person, and left that person paralyzed. Stephanie and her controlling family never seemed to care that her brother did anything wrong or felt bad for the person Lance shot. Instead, they accused Matt of ratting out Lance to his policeman father (which Matt didn’t do), and Stephanie dumped him for it. In doing so, Matt’s life went completely downhill and nearly ended at the bottom of a bottle.
Matt and Stephanie had a lot of chemistry, but Stephanie was trapped under her brother’s and her abusive ex-lover’s thumb. She wanted to please her family and keep the peace more than she cared about her and Matt’s happiness, and I just couldn’t respect her.
The story is told in first person, duel H/h POV. It needs an edit to fix some spelling errors and inconsistencies. There are also a few unanswered questions, but nothing major that affected the overall plot.

The most precious gifts are the ones we never see coming. Mr. Sapphire falls into that category. Ward has crafted a story that is full of surprises. Ella and Brendan have been waiting a lifetime for each other. When fate steps in and guides them to each other is when the heart tingles begin. Ms. Ward proves that short and sweet can be a sensual experience.

What happens if you happen to be a voracious or just a regular reader of a wide variety romance genres and you’ve found a multi-genre author whose titles for their books seem to have caught your eye. Or what happens when you’ve read one book written by an author and you’d like to read more. In either case, how do you choose which book you should read first/next.

This is the problem readers face when it comes to the author of this collection, Vivian Ward. Ms. Ward has written over 30 stories across a wide spectrum of romance genres, each one being capable of satisfying an individual’s reading enjoyment; especially when it comes to be hot and steamy.

To resolve this dilemma for her readers, Ms. Ward, has decided to hand-pick 12 of what she considers to be her best endeavors. While I might be partial to reading second chance and bad boy romances, the book also contains stories involving billionaires, secret babies, as well as other sub-genres of romance.

If you hate stories where there they just end without no idea of the outcome regarding the relationship between the two protagonists in the story, or where there’s no indication of a HEA at the end; have no fear these full-length stories don’t contain neither. There are no so-called cliffhangers and there’s guaranteed HEA waiting for readers at the end.

The element that love will endure runs through each of these stories, hence the reason for the title for this collection. As I read this collection I couldn’t help but recall the Neil Sedaka song, sung by Captain & Tennille, “Love Will Keep Us Together”:

Love love will keep us together
Think of me babe whenever
Some sweet talking guy comes along singing his song
Don't mess around,
You got to be strong
Just Stop, 'cause I really love You
Stop, I'll be thinking of you
Look in my heart and let love keep us together
You, you belong to me now

Ain't gonna set you free now
When those guys start hanging around talking me down
Hear with your heart and you won't hear a sound
Just stop, 'cause I really love you
Stop, I'll be thinking of you
Look in my heart and let love keep us together

Whatever young and beautiful
Someday your looks will be gone
When the others turn you off
Who'll be turning you on

So, with 12 stories and a price of 99 cents you go wrong by downloading a copy and why this collection has gotten 5 STARS from this reviewer.
