A beautifully illustrated collection of beloved Mother Goose rhymes featuring vintage fabric and well-known children's illustrators to offset each rhyme. I think the author and editors did an excellent job compiling these rhymes and pairing them with antique illustrations. The combination of fabric and old prints has a nostalgic appeal that speaks to the timelessness of Mother Goose. I like that the text is printed large so a child could follow along as the book is read aloud. Overall a lovely collection.… (more)
