what i don't like about this series is that you are hopping about from page to page AND THEY DON'T TELL YOU WHAT PAGE YOU ARE HOPPING TO, so you have to flip through and then some of the paintings they're talking about are not there. not reader friendly at all.

Being a book which, while small, is nonetheless roomy enough to provide definitive coverage of one painting, owing to the exclusivity of its focus.

i don't really like tis kind of art and this book didn't help. i had terrible trouble working out which paintings were b's and which were other people's and it what order they were painted.
