Character description

Princess Augusta of Saxe-Gotha (1719–1772) married Frederick, Princes of Wales and was known as Dowager Princess of Wales after his death in 1751. Their son inherited the throne from his grandfather and became King George III. She is said to have exerted considerable influence over him early in his reign.
